Old Navy Haul

By Jayfletch22 @Jayfletch22
Hello my lovely readers! First, I would like to let everyone know that I just recently joined twitter. I have been trying to get my blog more exposure to a wider audience, and I figured the first step would be to join twitter. I gained some great new followers because of it, and I want to thank you guys so much! I added a link to the side of my page to follow me on twitter if you'd like. I always follow my followers back! I know the link is kind of hard to see because the sidebar is transparent. I'm trying to figure out how to fix that because on the template designer, it shows there is a background there. Sorry! You can follow me @jayfletch22!
So onto this post. Over the summer I bought some things from Old Navy that I really love. I absolutley love Old Navy, because it isn't sooo expensive, they have some really cute items, and boy do they last!
You prybably will notice in this post that I love clothes that are casual, but have some really pretty details that make them easy to dress up when needed. They may not be the most fashionable pieces, but hey, I used to only wear basketball shorts, t shirts, and sweat pants up until last year. Plus, who says you have to make outrageous outfits to have fashion sense. NOT ME. ok sorry about all of this, onto the pictures!! If you read all of this, you really are a saint!

Old Navy Haul I love this first tank. It is so lightweight and great for those summer days where Chicago is under a heat wave warning. Whoo-hoo! The top layer is sheer, and the shirt comes with a yellow tank attached under. The only thing I don't like about the shirt is that the two tanks get tangled up easily and are hard to get back in order, one ontop of the other. I supposed I can just cut them apart though.

Old Navy HaulI had totally lusted for these flats forever! I saw them one day browsing online, and HAD to get them, but I wanted to wait until I got my pay check or I found a magic lamp with an all powerful genie inside, like Aladdin. So one day I was "looking" at my sisters wallet and found two unused old navy gift cards, and after asking her, she didn't want them anymore and gave them to me. Maybe there is a genie looking out for me! So anyway I bought them and have been inlove ever since. They are super cute, but the first day I wore them I went on a long walk with my boyfriend and his aunt, and well lets say I still have blister scars. I still love them though!

I bought this shirt because I loved the color and the detailing on the sleeve. It kind of reminds me of the Mexican Hat Dance, because when I was 5 I figure skated to that song with my skating team, and we had material like this hanging on the sombreros we wore. I love how when this shirt is on, The shoulders make my torso look longer by adding detail higher, and make my hips look a little more proportionate. I spend a great deal studdying myself because of my old figure skating carreer, and realized I have curves, long legs for someone 5'4, but a short torso. ugh.

This shirt is one of my favorites! I couldn't find it in a small, so I bought it in a medium, which works out well because it's a little more slouchier, but still looks great with the front tucked in around my belt. I have gotten so many compliments wearing it and the sequins aren't overly tacky either. It's just right.

Old Navy HaulThis last shirt is also a favorite of mine. It def. goes with the tribal trend now, and has gorgeous beading detail. I don't remember exactly how much it was, but before I looked at the price tag, I thought it was going to be way more expensive.
Sorry for this super long post, and if you read all of this, you are my hero!
