Oily Skin DIY Face Mask

By Jayfletch22 @Jayfletch22
I love Spring! The flowers are starting to bloom, its warmer out, the birds are all back and chirping, but...my skin starts to get really oily again. I feel like I'm in a losing battle against the oil. I use makeup setting spray that gets rid of excess oil, oil reducing moisturizer, and oil reducing toner. I even still have to use oil blotting papers all through the day.
I came up with this face mask that also reduces oil. Used about three times a week, it has reduced the shine and oil on my face. It is not a miracle worker, but it has helped a lot.
In this mask, I used tomatoes, strawberries, and baking soda. According to Daily Glow, "Tomatoes have cooling elements to soothe raw skin, astringents to remove excess oil, and tons of vitamin C and A to brighten dull skin and restore its health." On the other hand, strawberries contain natural salicylic acid that is great for fighting acne, and baking soda is a great natural exfoliant.

Add Cherry tomatoes, some strawberries and baking soda to a blender. Blend up, and then add some extra baking soda until it becomes like a paste.

Then put on face and wait about 20 minutes. It will sting a little, but it is worth it.
Then rinse off and reveal beautiful skin!
