Assistant Technician (Electrical & Cathodic)
- No of posts: 18 [UR: 9, SC: 2, ST: 2, OBC: 4, EWS: 1]
- Pay: Pay Scale ₹ 26,600.00 – 90,000.00
- Educational Qualification:
  1. Class 10 passed from Govt recognized Board
  2. Candidate must be trade certificate holder in the trade of Electrician from Govt. Recognized ITI / Institute with 2 (two) years duration
  3. Must possess valid electrical workman permit issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Govt of Assam.

Assistant Technician (Telecommunication,)
- No of posts: 2 [UR: 1, SC: 1]
- Pay: Pay Scale ₹ 26,600.00 – 90,000.00
- Educational Qualification:
  1. Class 10 passed from Govt recognized Board
  2. ITI in Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation Trade from Govt Recognized Institute

Assistant Technician (Fitting)

Junior Engineer (Electrical & Cathodic)

- Pay: Pay Scale ₹ 32,000- 1,27,000
- Educational Qualification:
  1. Class 10 passed from Govt recognized Board
  2. Passed 03 years Electrical Engineering Diploma Course
  3. Must possess six months certificate / diploma in Computer Application
  4. Must possess all the following valid electrical Supervisory Certificate of Competency issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Govt of Assam
  5. a) Part -1: Elementary Principles, b) Part 2: Wiring for systems not exceeding 250 Volts, c) Part 3: DC apparatus not exceeding 650 Volts, d) Part 4: AC apparatus not exceeding 650 Volts, e) Part – 5 : Underground Cable –[ a) Voltages Upto 1100 Volts, b) Voltages up to 11, 900 Volts] f) Part – 7 : Overhead lines – (a) Upto 650 Volts
