Two reasons. 1, I have not seen enough movies from the year yet, and when I know there are many, many movies from the year that I have to see (and are on Netflix waiting for me!) why would I post just now? 2, the biggest awards of the season aren’t until February, and I think it best to write about the best films when the Academy is going to announce THEIR best films of the year. Because of course, my picks are smarter than theirs!
So, this is going to be another announcement post, I will soon be going on a marathon to view and review films from 2011 that I have not seen, and some that I already have. Knowing my laziness and lack of ability to post everyday (which I plan to change, I promise) I probably won’t get more than fifteen movies and reviews in for films I have not watched, but hopefully I’ll be able to fit in more!
In the meantime, any suggestions? What are your favorites of 2011? I need to see them all! (except for the ones I don’t want to watch, obviously)
