On April 4, 2015, The Bomb Factory played host to The Pin Show with a unique fashion experience. Originating as a liaison for independent designers to gain access to stylists, artists, retail buyers and the like, this unique Dallas fashion show has gained tremendous momentum and a devoted following and support by those in the Dallas fashion industry. After a record number of applications, The Pin Show's 2015 line up included designers from all over the country and the newly renovated Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum provided the perfect venue to spotlight these up and coming designers. The show included 12 new designers and 10 veteran designers for a total of 22 lines hitting the runway. The Pin Show founder, Julie McCulloch told CultureMap, "That speaks volumes about where Dallas' independent fashion scene is right now." Musical guests Zhora & Friends brought along some friends to create a one of a kind experience while the models took to the runway in the form of neon-clad dancers. Each designer showcased 6 - 10 looks on the runway featuring menswear, women's Ready-To-Wear, avant-garde, jewelry, swimwear, outerwear, and resort wear. Featured designers included: Ana Pesqueira, Beaus+Ribbons, Carmen Iris, Civil Revolution, Copper Signatures, EcoArmoire, Elle Luxx, Evoli, folksie, Hardly Alice, Indigo1745, Kae and Jae Mahogany, Blues Swimwear, Marek+Richard, Megan Surber, Melancholic Design, Nita Marie, Sacred Heart Collection, Sam Morgan, This One Woman, thrIII and yomono.
