Today, the company's CEO Pete Lau posted a new post on the official OnePlus forums that has tons of details on the company's next phone. In a short YouTube video, the company showed off the full design of the OnePlus 8T, a phone that OnePlus has not yet launched.
The video gives us a clear overview of the 8T's new camera module design. It also shows off a new colorway that OnePlus calls Aquamarine Green.

OnePlus 8T: Welp, it definitely looks like this
The company that reveals so many details on an upcoming smartphone is atypical for the brand. Usually OnePlus protects everything in absolute secrecy. Here we are, however, with a video that will likely be the centerpiece of the upcoming launch event that will be released through official channels almost a week early. I think anything can happen in 2020.

Regardless of this, the OnePlus 8T looks a little different than the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, at least on the back. The new camera module doesn't look at all like these phones or even the brand's most recent launch, the OnePlus Nord. Instead, this is more similar to the module we saw on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S20 FE will likely be the main competitor for the 8T. We expect the two phones to have very similar specs and possibly even similar prices. The fact that the phones now look very similar is just the icing on the cake.
