Hello Freckles October Beauty Favourites
I can't believe we're almost in November already! It's time to chat monthly favourites again and this month I've been keeping things fairly minimal.
Nars Sheer Glow is now my absolute favorite foundation. I'm so glad I decided to treat myself to it at the end of September as an early birthday present. Sheer Glow has medium, buildable coverage with great lasting power and the shade blends in seamlessly. I have Mont Blanc for reference. As soon as I get low on this, I know I'll be out repurchasing. It may be a bit pricey but in my opinion, it's totally worth it.
LUSH Ro's Argan Body Conditioner has been a favorite for a long time, but never really made the cut for my monthly post. I'm not too sure why, since I've had this tub for a while now and recently I've really been using it. I guess with having some long days at work I don't feel like moisturising after a shower - especially if I'm being really quick on a morning. You apply this in the shower once you're all washed and rinsed, give it a few minutes then rinse off and your skin is left super soft. It has my favorite rose jam scent too, so it's an absolute dream to use.
The Body Shop Colour Crush nail varnishes are still relatively new but this shade, Deeply In Love, has made a big impact on me already. I've written a full post on the nail varnish range here, but this is definitely my AW14 signature shade. I actually thought I'd lost it the week before the North East Blogger Awards as I couldn't find it anywhere. Luckily, Andrew found it hiding in his room and we're now happily reunited!
As part of Essiebutton's giveaway, I received the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Subversion Primer*. This mascara has been giving my lashes some serious length lately. I like to pair it with Subversion, the eyelash primer if I want to make my eyes more of a focus. At first the white primer felt a bit odd, but it does totally make a difference. I'll be posting about mascaras soon, so look out for that if you're in the market for a new 'un.
For my birthday last month, my sister gave me Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb*, which was such a lovely surprise. It's an incredibly feminine, sophisticated scent that I'm reserving for special occasions. With top notes of tea and bergamot and woody base notes of patchouli and centifolia rose it smells incredible and I'd highly recommend giving it a sniff if you haven't already!
What've been your favorite products this month?
