October Drift have shared the video for new single ‘Oh the Silence’, one of the highlights from last year’s fantastic ‘Forever Whatever’ album. The video features a continuous shot of singer Kiran running along an abandoned runway that matches the energy and intensity of the anthemic three and a half minutes.
Kiran opens the song stating ‘Oh the silence will be the death of me, still got time but not quite the energy’ before pondering how to make sense of all the pain and heartbreak surrounding him: ‘I would take you to the end if I could get there’. As the sound veers somewhere between The Cure and Editors, Kiran ends by repeatedly rasping ‘I left my heart there’.
