The youngest monarch ever to ascend the throne and become the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Kusenla III, is Oba Saheed Ademola.
Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III was born on 10 April 1976, is a descendant of Kusenla Ruling House of Ikate Land in Lagos State. His Royal Majesty is the 21st Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom. His late father, Oba Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi, was the 20th Oba Elegushi of Ikateland, who reigned from 1991 to 2009. He succeeded his late father as king, who was the first crowned king of Ikateland.
Oba Saheed Elegushi Education
The royal monarch had most of his education in Lagos State, Nigeria. Between 1981 and 1987, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi had his primary school education at St. Matthias Primary School, Lagos. Moving forward, his Royal Highness proceeded to Methodist Boys' High School, Lagos between 1988 and 1994 for his secondary school education.
Oba Saheed Elegushi bagged a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) in Economics from the prestigious Lagos State University. Between 2002 and 2003, he obtained his Master's degree from the same university in Economics. Being an avid lover of knowledge, Oba Saheed Elegushi decided to study Public Administration at the University of Manchester where he bagged another Masters degree.
Oba Saheed Elegushi Career
Prior to his coronation, the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom served in the Lagos state government as a Special Assistant to the Lagos Governor between 2003 to 2007. He was reappointed again during the tenure of former Governor Fashola as the Senior Special Assistant (Special Programmes/Duties) to the Governor. He served in this position till 2010 when he was crowned king of Ikateland.
Currently, Oba Saheed Elegushi is on the board of several companies, which include Elegushi Property Investment Company; Sahsek Oil and Gas; Sahsik Foods, Ade-automas; and Imperial International Business City.
During the course of his reign in Ikare land, the kingdom has witnessed increased development and improvement especially in the area of healthcare, good road networks and other infrastructure development. Due to this, his kingdom has seen improvement in its trade and commerce.

According to reports, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi comes from a large family. He has 19 siblings: 12 sisters and 7 brothers. He is married to two wives namely Olori Sekinat Elegushi and Olori Hadiza Elegushi. The marriage is blessed with kids.
