Oatmilk

On Saturday afternoon I went grocery shopping. The supermarket was out of my favorite Soymilk.

Whole Foods was out of it too so I settled for Oat milk.

The first oat milk I ever tried months ago was Chobani. The variety with zero sugar. It tasted okay but I didn’t like the fact that it contained rapeseed oil so after one cup I poured out the rest of the container.

I don’t want any oils, vitamin a palmitate, or any other unnecessary ingredients in my nondairy milk.

I don’t care for Almond Milk.

I do not mind Almond Milk as a list of preparation included within certain foods but I don’t like to drink it straight, there is something missing to it.

Almond Milk is too thin and watery tasting for me.

I purchased the shelf stable Original Planet Oat oatmilk. This variety is formulated different from the refrigerated blend within the supermarket.

It doesn’t contain the other undesirable ingredients that I do not prefer in comparison except for the calcium carbonate.

I like the brown color of the Planet Oat oatmilk. I like the texture. I like the taste I just do not feel comfortable with the calcium carbonate in the product.

There is no oil or any added sugar. The added sugars listed on the label is just the process that is used to break down the oats into simpler carbohydrates.
