O’Dea Design have built a gorgeous wireless induction charger. The goal with their project was to create a piece of modern art which doubles as a charging pad. As the first in a series of tabletop and freestanding wireless induction chargers, this features a triangular concrete base with a soft cork top. The shape of this dual charger was designed to accommodate two devices simultaneously (one tablet and one phone) with two independent induction charging hearts. This version is based on the Qi standard as found in devices like the LG Nexus 4, Nokia Lumina 920 and Samsung Galaxy S4, as well as various cases and dongles available for other devices including the iPhone.
