Verdict on Nyad

Nyad is a biopic drama following the lifelong dream of an endurance swimmer Diana Nyad. She beat records around the world, but one eluded her in her young life. Once she hits 60, she decides to give it another attempt despite the odds being stacked against her.

This is an incredible story of overcoming the odds to achieve a lifelong dream. That might seem like a spoiler, but let’s be honest, they wouldn’t make the movie otherwise. This shows how determined Diana is and would never give up despite numerous troublesome attempts. The performances from Annette Bening and Jodie Foster received Oscar nominations and you can see why. They are both incredible throughout the movie.
