After being off for a week due to the flu, I was pretty sure this morning would resemble the above picture and I wasn’t far wrong………it did.
Oodie was pretty reluctant to even get changed this morning, but eventually did and was fine in the car until we actually got to the front of the nursery school gates and then, well, he tried to start kicking and screaming and I ignored and walked on in to school, it obviously didn’t register with him that he could infact have turned and gone back to the car and so, he followed me, all the way into the classroom. He smiled when he saw his teacher, she looked extra pretty this morning, she had her hair tied back and it really made her face, bright and friendly. She has a beautiful smile, I think that’s what actually calmed him down.
He quickly saw a friend and ran off……….
I quickly exited the room and headed off to the car.
I didn’t say goodbye to him, still feel bad but I know it’s the best thing for him……..be cruel to be kind.
