Now Make Video Calls from Whatsapp For Android

Whatsapp is one of the most popular messaging apps on the planet, has finally been evolving off late. Voice calls feature was introduced recently and so was the file sharing feature. Now, Whatsapp for Android is rolling out the Video calls feature as well. Although, it is only available  for Beta users.

How to make Video calls using Whatsapp ?

Video calling on Whatsapp is as easy as one can imagine. You just need to pull up the contact and tap the call button and choose ‘Video call’. Only condition here is that the person on the other side also needs to have the feature. If not then your contact needs to update their Whatsapp Application. The functionality seems to be working across several beta versions, from v2.16.316 onwards.

How to download the Android beta app ?

To be able to download and access the feature, you need to sign up as a Beta tester. Click here to know how to become a beta tester. Once, done, you can download the beta version from the Google Play store or download the latest build for WhatsApp Android from APKMirror and give it a try. However, please do make sure that backup all your chats before you follow any trick to activate videos calls on Whatsapp for Android.
