Police investigations have revealed that the Novice Monk who was arrested in connection with the murder of the Chief Incumbent of Sri Nandaramaya Temple in Weththewa, Seeduwa Ven. Neda gamuwe Mahanama Thera had planned the murder for over three months. It has also been found that the murder was carried out according to a plan of the woman who got to know this suspect Novice Monk through Facebook and who became his girlfriend. A senior Police officer said that the woman was 23 years old and the Novice Monk only 19 years.
It has also been revealed that she had left for Dubai about four months ago where is is working for Sri Lankan living there, who claims to be a resident of Wattala.
