Joe Quartz Bio
Trained at the Paris Conservatory, these two improvising musicians decided to create Joe Quartz, a duo in which they never stop renewing their experiences. In 2018, supported by the Deux Pièces Cuisine, they recorded their first album "SELF AFRAID" (released in June 2018) in the form of a USB necklace. In April 2019 they released a 5 tracks "THE NEW WORLD", on which they invited accordionist Charles Kieny. The same year, they obtained the Arcadi "song" grant, which offered them the support of different SMACs in ile de France. In February 2019, they were spotted by Glen Hansard, Irish singer who added them at the last moment to the first part of his European tour.They performed in prestigious venues (Barbican Center, Kölner Philharmonie, Admiral Palast, Cirque Royal ...) They ended this tour with a concert at the Café de la Danse, in June 2019.
