I actually picked up the L'Oreal Triple Active Day cream on a whim in Boots. You know the situation, going in to look for a new concealer and you come out with a 3 for 2 offer and another mascara you didn't really need and day cream. I say that like it's a bad thing and I guess it's not... it means I don't have to take my Body Shop Vitamin E cream backwards and forwards from my boyfriend's (which I'm sure he's really happy about, considering there's already a reasonable amount of makeup and brushes I 'accidentally' leave there). It's a good cream for the winter months, I tend to get quite dehydrated skin in cold weather but this is quite thick, without being greasy on the skin and keeps my face soft and nourished.
The candle may seem like an oddball in this post, since I usually focus on beauty items but I've been loving the smell of this Jelly Belly 'Very Cherry' one, it's leading me up nicely to December when I'll bring out the cinnamon one!
Barry M is a brand I tend to lean towards for nail varnish, the formula lasts well and there's such a range of colours. I spotted this matte one my sister had bought, tried it out and was sold completely, it's a great matte finish and the color is lovely. The only thing is, I find after a few days my nails don't seem so matte anymore and have a bit of a shine to them. Anyone else found this?
L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint is a great foundation when you want just a small amount of coverage and something that looks really natural. It blends in really well (I have the lightest shade, Porcelain) and has that 'no makeup' makeup look to it.
I think everyone has heard of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadows by now! This month I've been wearing a subtle smokey eye with 'Permanent Taupe' almost every day. It's so quick and effortless meaning I can have my makeup done really quick and have an extra few minutes in bed. Win win!
