Nothing is going as planned at Real Madrid!

On Saturday, Real Madrid Will Start their season in Liga against Celta Vigo. These beginnings will inevitably be examined, especially after a very worrying summer preparation. In the face of all these uncertainties, will Casa Blanca silence its detractors?

Just a stone’s throw from the Liga’s resurgence, Real Madrid are leaving all their supporters cautious. On Saturday, Casa Blanca will launch its 2019-2020 campaign in Liga against Celta Vigo. A first that will attract all the attention in Spain, after a summer when it was more a question of emotional lift for the Merengues than of serenity. And yet, Florentino Perez has done everything possible to put his coach Zinedine Zidane in the best possible position. By quickly completing several arrivals (Rodrygo, Militao, Jovic, Hazard and Mendy), the Madrid president thought he had done his part.

Above all, Perez has for the first time fully met the requirements of his coach, who appreciates above all, working alone during mercatos. But it must be assumed that this approach, which is full of good intentions, does not materialize in the expected effect. Indeed, a few weeks later, the results of Madrid’s summer preparations remain more than mixed. In seven matches, Real have won three (against Arsenal on penalties, then against Salzburg and Fenerbahce) and four (against Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham and AS Roma). But the team shaped by Zidane was especially distinguished by multiple defensive deficiencies (18 goals conceded).

Zidane’s management is calling out to Hazard, who is already on the block
Don’t throw any more, that’s all it took for Real Madrid to get through its first zone of turbulence. And what about Zinedine Zidane in all this? More than ever, the French technician seems to be dithering in his management. Its tactical instability (several systems used during the preparation) is anything but a guarantee for its players. The latter seem helpless in the face of their coach’s sometimes disconcerting choices. If there is any doubt in sporting terms, the context behind the scenes is not much brighter. Indeed, the Merengues still do not manage to get rid of their undesirables. Thus, the Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez cases paralyze Madrid’s finances. For the moment, the Bernabeu residents are dragging their failure on these two issues like a bullet.

And to top it all off, Real Madrid have been shaking a little more[since the injury of their new star Eden Hazard. The Red Devil, who suffers from a lesion on his left thigh, is already out of the running for the restart of the Liga. The Spanish media even report that the Belgian international is unavailable for three to four weeks… Yet another hard blow for Zinedine Zidane who dreamed of shaping her team around Hazard…. Spain will be watching Real Madrid’s debut against Celta on Saturday. In case of poor performance, the clamp will undeniably tighten around ZZ. If things go wrong quickly, Florentino Perez could draw his last cartridge before the end of the mercato. It remains to be seen whether Neymar or Paul Pogba would be able to relieve all the summer pains in Madrid…
