Not Without You

Oh friends, I don't do this often, but today's post is simply going to be a time to listen, reflect, & respond. My mentor recommended I go see Parshan Di Vesser, a guest speaker, at the Huntington Beach campus of my church. I had told her about my One Word for 2013 & she thought this message would be in perfect alignment with my vision for the year.
Boy oh boy was she right.
I had started the day a little cranky due to some insomnia & almost flaked on going to church. God had literally cleared my Sunday schedule the night before, so I had no excuses. This was only my second time at the HB campus & I felt ill-at-ease because I knew no one & because I was a bit out of my comfort zone. The urge to turn around & leave was heavy. But I stuck it out. And I can't tell you how glad I am that I did.
Parshan's message is profound, inspiring, and was just what I needed to hear to encourage me further along in my journey of releasing. By the end of the service I was in tears, as were many others. I could literally feel the Holy Spirit encompassing the room, which is something I haven't felt in a while.
As I walked to my car I tried to contain myself, the tears were still rolling as the enormity of Parshan's message of surrender pounded me over & over like rolling waves. As I reached my car, the floodgates opened & I began bawling. And what a good cry it was.
So here it is friends, Parshan's message entitled "Not Without You" - please watch until the VERY end because that is when Parshan invites you to engage & when he so beautifully invokes the Holy Spirit.
