The Kidney Foundation of Canada is rolling out its brand new health and fitness program. The Active Living for Life pilot program is one of the first of its kind in Ontario to provide exercise opportunities and active living support specifically tailored to people living with kidney disease.

We are proud to have worked on this not-for-profit brand development project for a program that will help those living with chronic kidney disease (CKD) to take big steps towards enhancing their lives and getting back to the activities they love.

The project involved creating a fresh logo for the pilot program. The colours and figures were created to represent the diversity of persons living with CKD. The free-flowing illustrative style and typeface were chosen to reflect the energy, fitness and activity that it aims to instil into their lives and the kidney created by the negative space of the adjoining figures subtly ties us back to the foundation behind this amazing program. Additional materials essential to the program included instructor and participant guide binders and booklets to help facilitate good active habits, proper diets and outline beneficial exercises.
