While touring Athens, I found some time to go check out the Athens War Museum.  This museum contains a comprehensive exhibition of weapons and of war throughout Greek history.  Being in the middle of the city does limit the number of aircraft on display, the handful at the museum are all displayed outside.  Here is F-5 Freedom Fighter, developed by Northrop as a lower cost fighter intended for the export market.  The Hellenic Air Force was the first European air force to receive the F-5 (1962), eventually operating about 120 aircraft from 1965 to 2002.  Introduced in 1962, the F-5 was in production for 28 years (2,200+ produced) and is still operated by the US Navy as an adversary trainer.  Northrop manufactured a total of 624 F-5As, including three YF-5A prototypes, before production ended in 1972.  Fuji XE-2s w/18-55mm.
