This early model T-28A Trojan, named “Teufel Hunden”(Devil Dogs), is seen here at the 2010 Oshkosh Airventure prior to its sale and export to the Czech Republic.  The Trojan is a 1950’s era training aircraft that was used by the Air Force and Navy, along with armed forces around the world, and eventually replaced by the T-34C Mentor. The T-28 saw combat roles in Vietnam and Laos after being modified to carry weapons and ordnance. More than 1,900 were produced between 1950-1957.  Nikon D300 w/18-200mm.
