At this year’s Biggest Little Airshow, there was one full size aircraft that performed as the show’s finale. John Collver flies this Texan, named “War Dog”, on the West Coast airshow circuit. War Dog was built in Texas in 1944, saw duty in various U.S. bases before retirement and assignment to the Japanese Self Defense Force until 1974.
