The USAF Thunderbirds photobomb this gleaming P-51 Mustang during the 2011 Air Power Expo at Travis AFB. This particular Mustang has an interesting history as it was delivered directly to NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) in 1945 for flight research purposes. At NACA it was identified as NACA 126 and flew until sold as surplus in 1957. Nikon D300 w/18-200mm.
