One of several P-51’s on hand at the 2019 Pacific Coast Dream Machines show was this beautiful unnamed Mustang in Tuskegee redtail colors. This Mustang is from the Erickson Aircraft Collection and is touring with the Liberty Foundation, offering paid flights. More than 8100 of the D-model were produced, contributing to the total of 15,000 Mustangs built for the war. After World War II, the P-51 Mustang served in the air forces of over 55 countries.
