Each time I visit this museum, the aircraft are located differently from the last time.   I hope this aircraft gets a restoration soon as the appearance is a bit worn.  This Sabre wears the colors of the 199th Fighter Squadron, Hawaii ANG which used the F-86L from 1958–1961. The F-86L is an updated version of the F-86D Sabre. The newer version utilized longer-span slatted wings and was equipped with a data-link to the Semi-Automatic Ground Environment (SAGE) air defense system, providing all-weather 24/7 defense of the islands.
