Remember the good old days when Lil’ Kim was known as the “Queen Bee?” Those were my favorite days. She was the perfect role model for me and my friends back in Catholic school. Let’s be honest, anyone who could fit a Sprite can in their mouth should be someone’s role model.
Anywho, I was sitting in a cubby at the library today and this song came on my iPod. When I heard it, my Non-Demeaning to Women lightbulb turned on. I’m not really sure if this jam promotes the advancement of women in society, but you can’t deny the waves Lil’ Kim made in a male-dominated rap game….regardless who she slept with to get to the top.
