Nokia’s Entry-level Phones Will Get Android 10 Go Edition, HMD Confirms

HMD Global has confirmed that its entry-level Nokia smartphones will get the Android 10 Go Edition update. HMD Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas has confirmed on Twitter that the Android 10 Go edition update will be available in Nokia 2.1, Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 1. He wrote – Having an entry-level smartphone does not mean that there will be a compromise in terms of its experience.

With the new Android 10 Go Edition, Google has proved that a good experience of memory, performance, and security can be enjoyed even in entry-level smartphones. We are planning to bring this experience to Nokia smartphones.

Nokia 1 Plus was launched in India with Android Pie Go Edition. It will get an update in Q1 2020. Nokia 1 was launched in India on March 2018. This phone will also get an update in Q2 2020. At the same time, Nokia 2.1 will get Android 10 Go Edition update in Q2 2020. With Android 10 Go edition, users will be able to switch apps 10 percent faster. This edition made by Google for entry-level smartphones uses a new type of encryption.
