Nokia Corporation has put one of its domain names up for sale on SnapNames.com.
The domain name Plum.com is the Moniker Premium Spring Auction that just started a few days ago with a reserve range of $100,000-$250,000.
Its been along discussed topic in the domain community to what extent end users are involved in insider domain auctions and at least in this case, they are a seller.
It looks like Nokia purchased the domain in mid-2010 from a Hans Peter Brondmo of San Fransisco.
The domain name Plum.com is currently going to a MarkMonitor.com placeholder saying that the domain is for sale and has a contact form for those that maybe interested.
Of course the site should be directing visitors to the auction rather than taking inquiries.
The domain has a Google Page Rank of 4 and an Alexa rank of 2.3 Million
The auction doesn’t close until May 9th, 2013 and we will let you know if it sells.…
