In the ongoing MWC 2018, HMD Global has announced 5 New phones under the Nokia branding. These phones are Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018), a budget-friendly Nokia 1 and a reboot Nokia 8110 4G. The Nokia 8110 4G is a feature phone quite like the Nokia 3310 that was launched last year, however, this one comes with 4G connectivity rest all are Android-powered smartphones.

Nokia 8 Sirocco
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is the latest flagship from Nokia and like other Nokia phones, it will come with the latest version of near stock Android 8.0 Oreo (Android One). The phone sports the latest 18:9 aspect ratio display and “does not have a 3.5mm audio jack”.
Nokia 8 Sirocco will be available in an all black color variant and is priced at 749 euros or $920 or Rs. 59,500 approx. Nokia 8 Sirocco India launch will happen in the month of May along with a couple of other Nokia phones launched at MWC 2018.

Nokia 7 Plus
Nokia 7 Plus is powered by Android One from Google and comes with a 6-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, and like the Nokia 8 Sirocco, comes with a dual camera setup at the back.
The Nokia 7 Plus will be available in two color variants i.e. Black / Copper and White / Copper colors. The phone is priced at €399 or US$ 490 or approximately Rs. 31750. The phone will start retailing from early April. Nokia 7 Plus India launch will happen around the end of May or early June 2018.

Nokia 6 (2018)
The Nokia 6 (2018) was announced in China last month. The company announced the global launch at MWC 2018 and this phone is also coming to India pretty soon. The Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with 3/4 GB RAM variants.
The Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a traditional 16:9 display and is priced at 249 Euros or US$ 300 or Rs. 19800 approximately. It will be available in Black / Copper, White / Iron and Blue / Gold color options. The Nokia 6 (2018) India launch is scheduled around the end of May or first week of June.

Nokia 1 Android Go Edition
The Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) sports a 4.5-inches display, runs on Android 8.1 Android Oreo Go edition and comes with at Go applications preinstalled. This Nokia budget Android smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6737M Quad-Core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The phone comes with Xpress-on interchangeable polycarbonate covers.
The Nokia 1 will be available in Warm Red and Dark Blue colors and is priced at $85 or Rs. 5500 approximately. While the Xpress-on covers are separately available from $7.99 in Azure, Grey, Yellow, and Pink. The phone will start retailing from April. Nokia 1 India Launch is scheduled for the month of April.

Nokia 8110 4G
Rebooking old masterpieces seems to be Nokia’s masterplan. Like last years Nokia 3310, HMD has announced a 2018 version of old Classic Nokia 8110. The Nokia 8110 may be a perfect secondary phone for someone who needs a feature phone that supports 4G VOLTE. It comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA Curved display, slide to answer and end the call, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor and has an access to an app store that lets you download the apps like Google Assistant, Google Search, Google Maps, Facebook, and Twitter.
The Nokia 8110 4G comes in Traditional Black and Banana Yellow colors and is priced at €79 $98 or Rs. 6,300 approximately. It will be available from May globally while the India launch may happen around July 2018 or maybe later.

Like we have mentioned earlier three smartphones launched by Nokia in MWC 2018 run on Android One while the fourth one runs on Android Go. While there is a lot of hype already around the second generation of Nokia phones, it would be interesting to see how aggressively Nokia prices the phones in a sensitive market like India.
