This is my fist time reading the author. I'm a fan of Hard Case Crime so was looking forward to reading Nobody's Angel. I liked this book a lot. It's a very gritty read and not like the crime fictions and thrillers I tend to be drawn to. The sense of place is fantastic in the book and I felt I was really with Eddie driving though the streets of Chicago as someone evil stalks the streets. This is a gripping, well-written read. I'd recommend this book.
