Cabinet Spokesman Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena yesterday said that there is no political intervention regarding the increase of the bank interest rate and only the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has the authority to do that .
The Minister said this while attending the Cabinet press conference held at the Government Information Department.
