Clipse 2006 from Sony BMG for Observer Review

When I first heard Clipse’s Hell Hath No Fury in 2006, I was so blown away I couldn’t believe they weren’t the biggest hip-hop act around.  But, they never quite broke out of the underground and eventually split, with Pusha T continuing his emcee career and Malice stepping away from the hip-hop world and having a spiritual awakening which eventually led him to change his stage name to No Malice.  The duo have now reunited (just for one track, but something is better than nothing) on “Shame The Devil” from No Malice’s new record Hear Ye Him.  The track is classic sounding Clipse based around a real nice dancehall sample.  Stream it below and pick up Hear Ye Him here.
