Marvel has hired a pair of screenwriters to begin writing the screenplay for Thor 3. Obviously, it will not be called Thor 3. Probably something like Thor And The Hair Care Industry, or Thor’s Accent Is Different Than His Brothers Accent Yet They Were Both Raised In The Same World, or something like that. Studio exec Craig Kyle will join Thor 2 screenwriter Christopher Yost. No release date has been set. There are at least two “Marvel Untitled”‘s on the calendar for 2016, which would be a safe 3 years after Thor 2, and a year after The Avengers 2. Other potential “Untitled’s” would be Iron Man 4 or Captain America 3, or the launching of a new franchise. I’d bank on those two being Thor, and a new franchise though. CA3 will likely be 2017, and Iron Man 4 (if it ever happens) would be then as well. Robert Downey Jr is quite an expensive actor nowadays.
