Well, even if it results in a few broken vases or upturned cushions, it’s good for kids to be active; after all, that’s how they grow. But to maintain this level of activity, they need to have a constant input of energy too, and like all Moms, you’d prefer something that doesn’t take too long to make. That’s why these no bake energy balls are the perfect choice for your little bundle of mischief!
No Bake Energy Balls For Kids
Ingredients:
- 1 cup roasted Oats
- ½ cup roasted chopped peanuts
- ¼ cup chopped almonds
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup homemade dates syrup
- 1/8 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Method:
1. Take all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
2. Add dates syrup and blend well.
3. Refrigerate the mix for about an hour.
4. Pinch out portions from the mix and roll into round shape balls using palms.
5. Keep the energy balls in air tight container.
The energy balls can be given to kids above 2 years of age, but if your kids are still prone to choking, it might be advisable to wait a little more. Now you know exactly what to give your kids when they’re in need of some essential fuel!!
