This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

NMEDA, National Mobility Equipment Dealer Association, a non-profit association of mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers, driver rehabilitation specialists among other professionals who are working to help people who need help getting around. Since not everyone has an easy time moving from place to place, even with someone who can drive them. Just the process of getting into and out of vehicles can be problematic for some people. NMEDA works to helping these people, they promote and help people and companies modify vehicles to help people who need it. In other words, they help by modifying vehicles so that they are easily accessible for wheelchairs. This can mean putting in a lift so that the wheelchair can be moved into the vehicle, or helping by altering the drivers seat to allow a person who needs a bit of extra help to be able to drive themselves instead of being completely dependent on others. Personally I have to say that I think this is great. Giving someone a little help which allows them to stay independent is a great thing.
