If you're interested in the basics of Nintendo-related game releases, you've likely sat through an episode of Nintendo Direct, a semi-regular video series from Nintendo that focuses on upcoming games and hardware.
Almost all Nintendo announcements these days come through Nintendo Direct videos, and it's time for another. This time it's a Nintendo Direct Mini.

What can we expect? The tweet above, which shares the announcement, gives us some pointers. The focus on "titles from our development and publishing partners" means that you shouldn't expect major updates for the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild or Metroid Prime 4. Most likely, however, this will target third-party studio titles, but the "few updates for a small group of previously announced" Nintendo Switch games hope that something big will be shown.
