At one’s hometown, not many venture out! After a day’s hard work, people return home, be with their family, eat dinner and hit the bed. Cities would look far different in night – no post on nightlife but one on night photography.
Nighttime photography is very challenging, roads would be dimly lit and would be dark. More so in winter time – and for those trying to take photos, it is more difficult to take one without a flash. There could be multiple reasons for taking photos without flash mode !! You may not want to get unnecessary attention, or technically, the flash overpowers the image, or your subject may be too far away for the flash to do any good.
Back in Oct 2019, walking on the dark streets of Haridwar, it was pretty cold @ around 10.25 pm !! - saw a hotel with lights on all rooms !
Experience of an amateur photographer : Nikon d7200 with 18-105 lens; F5; Exp 1/30; ISO 16000 – Manual; no flash.
