Hong Kong, December 2012
Any avid Hong Kong shopper would know of the night market at Temple Street in the vicinity of Jordan and Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The street gets closed to traffic late in the afternoon and shoppers flock to the place even as early as 2 p.m. But there are many other smaller streets in Hong Kong that likewise morph into busy shopping areas in the evenings like this one along the tram line near Hong Kong Central — proof that shopping is very much part of the nightlife in Hong Kong.
