Story: Night Caller starts when telephone psychic Clementine Carter (Priver) starts getting visions of a serial killer, hunting down women and scalping them. As Clementine starts looking deeper into these visions, her father Charles (Miano) tells the story about what he once helped with in the past.

As the killer starts feeling the connection, he starts searching for Clementine, leading to the two facing a race to stay ahead of each other, before they stop the other.

Characters & Performances – Clementine Carter is the psychic telephone operator, usually just helping people feel better about them themselves, until her latest call puts her in the terrifying eyes of a serial killer. She will need to figure out who the killer is, while trying to protect the victims before he has his way with them. Away from this incident, she is dealing with her own problems in life, which has seen her hiding behind the telephone for work. The serial killer has his own twisted thoughts about why he is doing what he is doing scalping his victims, twisted in his mind, his identity is kept a secret as Clementine is searching for answers. Charles Carter is Clementine’s father who enjoys watching vintage horror movies, he is a former detective that will help and warn Clementine about what she is getting herself into. Susan Priver is great in the leading role of the film, balancing the horror and real-life problems she finds her character in.

StoryThe story here will find a psychic finding herself in the mind of a serial killer after witnessing him kill his latest victim, leading her to dive into the mind to learn who the killer is in hopes of stopping him from killing anymore, only to find herself being the targeted by the killer. The story here will have a vintage style feel to it, playing into the 70s, 80s style of movies, which you can see from the how the story unfolds, with the mystery that Clementine is going through. The story might not be anything new, but it works for the story, keeps everything filled with tension throughout the film

ThemesNight Caller is a horror slasher that will look to capture the magic of the 70s and 80s style movies, with how the kills are executed, the gore being used to add shock value to them, as well as the twists and turns along the way in the movie. The settings of the film work for the film too, showing how the killer could be operating within any big city.
