CBS Boston: ”His shift this past weekend started as it had for the past 10 years. “It was a normal Sunday shift… Sunday into Monday 11pm to 7am,” said Shannon Cothran, a clerk at the Shell on Main Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. Then around 3am Monday morning, a man rushed in yielding a knife. “He was very heavily masked and clothed. He came directly in and produced a knife and came around the corner and threatened my life,” he said.
Surveillance video from the store backs him up. You see the knife in the man’s hand and then you see what happened next. Cothran pulled out his Ruger pistol. “He just said, alright, alright and backed off and made his way out the door.”
Straight badass
So, this is a funny story. Guy tries to rob a Shell gas station and pulls a knife on the attendee, said attendee pulls his gun out, prospective robber fleas and the guy who pulled the gun gets fired. Ain’t that some shit! Bro saved the store all the money they would have lost, saved his own life and for that he gets the pink slip. Shell Gas is on some other shit if you ask me.
Any chance I can get this guy as my personal security guard? No chance anyone fucks with me as long as this guy is around. #BAWSEstatus like you read about.
P.S. His name might Shannon but this guy is a straight up American hero. Somewhere in some back woods in New Hampshire right now the robber is getting high as a kite and pissing his pant because some guy named Shannon almost shot his face off.
