Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT owners are the only ones who can buy Sewer Pass NFTs for the next game. Yuga Labs put out the whole experience on Wednesday night, and since then, sales of Ethereum NFTs have gone up.
CryptoSlam says that sales of Mutant Ape NFTs, which are the cheaper of the two, are up 124% to $4.2 million in the last 24 hours, while sales of Bored Ape NFTs are up 171% to over $3.5 million. Dookey Dash’s Bored Ape Kennel Club NFTs have sold for more than $3.3 million, which is an increase of 134%.
From January 17 to February 8, owners of Bored and Mutant Ape can get a free Sewer Pass NFT. Dookey Dash needs it, but NFTs can be sold again, which could make the secondary market stronger. Passes have different tier levels based on who owns a Bored Ape NFT. Some of these passes can improve game scores.
Dookey Dash will be playable from January 18 to February 8. Yuga Labs said that if a Sewer Pass is used at least once, it will “be able to evolve into something new.”
But it’s a “skill-based mint” with a leaderboard that keeps track of who has the best scores. “Players will be rewarded based on how well they do in the sewer,” it says on the official website.
Ape resurgence?
Since April 2021, the primary collection of the Bored Ape Yacht Club has been sold for more than $2.6 billion. Nearly $3.5 billion in NFT deals have come from Mutant Apes and virtual land plots for the upcoming Otherside metaverse game.
NFT Price Floor says that the price of a Bored Ape has risen above $102,000 in the last few weeks. In the last 30 days, Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT sales went up 26% to $82.5 million, according to CryptoSlam. The best-selling project of that time.
