The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection sold the most items this week. 7.998% of the $208 million that was sold this week, or $16.69 million, was made by it.
Sales of NFT increased 26% in the first week of 2023 in comparison to the final week of 2022. On Sunday, January 15, 2023, sales, however, were down 59.35% from the previous week. 75.33% of the sales made between January 8 and January 15, 2023, on the top 20 blockchains that issue NFTs, were made on Ethereum.
Solana came in second for NFT sales, accounting for $37.66 million, or 18.04% of the week’s total sales. The top five chains, according to this week’s NFT sales data, were Cardano, Immutable X, Solana, Binance Coin (BNB), and Ethereum.
The top five NFT collections this week in terms of overall sales are Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Azuki, Art Blocks, and Bored Ape Kennel Club. The Captainz, Beanz, Sorare, and Mutant Hound Collars follow these.
NFTpricefloor.com records show that on Sunday, January 15, 2023, the BAYC collection had the highest NFT floor value. Following BAYC were, in descending order, Cryptopunks, MAYC, Autoglyphs, and The Sandbox. The BAYC floor value was 70.408 ETH at the time this article was written, whereas the Cryptopunks floor value on Sunday was 66.19 ETH.
