After Sunday's games in week 15, the Bills took their first AFC East crown in 25 years by blowing out the Broncos. The Patriots lost to the Dolphins and will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2008. Meanwhile, Tom Brady led a team on yet another comeback against the Atlanta Falcons, the Chiefs outperformed the Saints in the marquee game of the week, and the Jets turned the Rams on their heads for their first win in the biggest surprise of the year. While the Jets avoid making the 0-16 distinction, they may also have lost the top pick in the draft and the chance to pick Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence. Even if the Jets win, they still lose!
Another surprise came Monday night when the Bengals gave the Steelers their third straight defeat and opened the AFC North Division race. With just two weeks playing, there is still a lot to be gained.
Friday begins week 16 with a special Christmas edition of Thursday Night Football when the Vikings visit the Saints. A win in New Orleans would keep Drew Brees and Co. in the running for a possible first-round reunion, while Minnesota must win (and the Arizona Cardinals must lose) to maintain their slim post-season chances.
