Next Step in Fourth Abstract Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

In this step, I started with cadmium yellow light, drawing zig-zagging lines that created triangular shapes.  I drew these lines in rows arcross the canvas, beginning about one-fourth of the way from the top.  Then I drew more rows in emerald green above and below the yellow.

I contined this process with aqua, cobalt green, and finally, pthalo green at the top and bottom of the canvas.  As I drew the lines, I stopped periodically to fill in the triangles, using a small wet painbrush to blend the colors.  When necessary, I added more paint to get the density I wanted.

After I stepped back and studied the painting, I decided to add a border of the pthalo green around the whole canvas, just as I did with Prussian blue in the blue painting with this same composition.
