Celebrating 30 years of flawless fashion at Next
Next had taken inspirtation from many different avenues for their seasons ensembles. Luxe gave creative flare with a seventies inspirtation - with pussybow blouses and wide legged trousers in retro colours of salmons and maroon. Marron Glace delivered folksy florals, paisley prints, lace and tapestry but teamed with faux leather and suede detailing. My favorite of their influences was Tin Tin, which gave the cosy quilted jackets and of course the tweeds, plaids and rugged charm that went with it. A preppy range which really looked fantastic and certainly ready for those chilly months. Last but not least for a sultry feel they used floral, faux fur, velvet and sequins to cater for the Aurora look. Perfect for those elegant evenings out and in a range of watercolour shades.
I am in love with my boyfriend very much, but its often rare for me to love anything as much! That completely changed when I saw the dress on the right hand side. A dip hem floral dress, ideal for those inbetween weather months. Honestly, I adored it on first sight! There were plenty of other cute items like this knitted fox bag - quirky and individual. This would most certainly be keeping my arm cosy when it hits the shops. The one thing I did especially love about the press day was the visual interpretations of looks. As much as I enjoy piecing outfits together myself, I thoroughly enjoy having that visual aid to inspire me. There was a classic feel to many of them, deep, rich color tones, tweed and checkered fabrics and exciting knits. As much as I am enjoying the UK's week of summer, I can't help but feel like I do have something to look forward to this AW12... the fabulous clothing range from the Next crew. I will no doubt come back to this all when the colder months creep in, but for now head out and enjoy the summer knowing we have all this to look forward to. Before I depart to sunbathe.... I just wanted to quickly say...
I hope we have many more years to enjoy your fabulous fashion!
xoxo
