I do love to plan ahead and I know many others do as well so I've collating the best snaps from the Next Christmas AW14 preview. Last years was fantastic providing a sneaky insight into Christmas in 2013... so was this year just as good? Being greeted by mini bacon rolls was always going to be a good start!
Next just seem to be raising the bar season after season and even though summer is normally my favorite season theit AW collections tend to be amazing.
Unlike the previous catwalk show this one was more intimate so you could really see the amazing fabrics and the textures. I was loving the footwear with a variety of deep tones for brogues and boots.
Personally I'm a huge fan of anything floral so seeing wter florals hitting the runway pleased me no end. I like the fact Next have teaken a calf length skirt (which is a hot garment this summer) and adapted it for AW14.The beautiful Jourdan Dunn was walking for Next again,I especially loved the fact the faux fur leopard print coat was making a come back. That'll be on the shopping list.
Like any AW collection there was lots of layering with the obvious selections for winter going out attire, lots of blacks and embellished tops were key favourites.
Oh my. I saw the sparkle and was drawn to these beauties when I went into the press area. The possibilities are endless for what to wear this big necklaces with. The wonderful thing is they will work for both autumn and winter.Well... it wouldn't be Christmas without a classic Christmas jumper would it? The snowflake one is always a good choice but the Christmas trees are just fun!
Loving the print on these buckle flat boots, the perfect addition for leggings and an oversized cardigan. I'd never of thought they were Next... but they really are!Being a house owner now I'm all about the little extras that create your home. Next have always been one of my top places for interior extras especially around Christmas - some gift ideas but also for you too.
The color schemes for Christmas are endless it seems but I seem to be drawn to the deep purples with blacks and golds. A rich and warming tone that steps away from the typical green and red.
Overall it's made me feel very optimistic about venturing into the colder months! I can't wait for these items to hit te shops!
As always thank you Next!
xoxo
