Have you seen the videos of melting, oozy raclette cheese being scraped delicately onto a variety of dishes, including potatoes, bread and burgers? Now, you can recreate this internet phenomenon at home this Christmas, with the new Raclette & Heater from Waitrose & Partners.
Popular in the Alps, raclette is a firm cow's milk cheese traditionally served from a specific kind of grill. The melted, caramelised surface of the cheese is perfect for scraping over foods to create an indulgent, and very Instagrammable treat. Available at Waitrose & Partners, the special grill comes with a quarter wheel of the Swiss cheese.
The cheese quarter is positioned in front of the heated lamp, and the holding bracket swivels out so you can scrape the melted cheese straight onto a dish of your choice. 😍🧀The concrete base prevents the heater from slipping, and is easy to clean.
