Rounding up tales both tall and true from around the world this Halloween…
This one caught our eye in the Huffington Post…An Ohio family has taken down their Halloween decorations after neighbors protested that the display – featuring lifelike dummies soaked in fake blood and stabbed through the throat with syringes – was too gory for children.
The display, located near an elementary school, featured an upside-down corpse hanging from a tree, a body impaled on a cross and other gruesome sights, [NBC-affiliated TV station] WKYC reports. The owners took it down on Sunday.
"I felt scared 'cause I thought they were real people," a 9-year-old girl told [local TV station] WOIO.
