Hospitality Health is a Scottish charity created to support the wellbeing of staff and students in the Hospitality sector. Always known as a challenging sector to work in, the charity hopes that now is the time to try to help employees who have problems and reverse the issues faced. Problems within the industry can range from addiction and mental health issues to how to handle a bereavement.

Outlined at the launch was the (EAP)- Employee Assistance Programme. Organisations can use this programme to support staff. The programme gives help in all areas from counselling, whistleblowing, factsheets, a telephone help line as well as financial help and guidance.

It sounds like just what is needed. Support to employees when they need it, be that with counselling, financial or just pointing where to go to get further help.
